Students who desire specialized knowledge about the elderly may obtain and interdisciplinary minor in Health in Aging. This minor, which is coordinated and directed by the School of Social Work, consists of a minimum of 18 semester hours.
In addition, any course identified by the student to have a significant focus on aging and/or issues of the elderly may be approved by the minor coordinator for a student’s program of study in the minor.
