Students are required to complete a minor in a discipline other than Geology. The choice of minor and program of study will be in consultation with the student’s academic advisors in Geology and the discipline of the minor.
B.A. Requirement (6-8 credits)

Students should consult with their academic advisors in selecting elective courses to complete 120 semester hours required for graduation. Additional courses in calculus, computer science and statistics (beyond those required) are recommended for geology majors.

To graduate with a major in geology, a student must attain an overall grade point average of 2.0 or higher in all courses in geology, and in the required courses in chemistry, mathematics, and geospatial science.
