STAT 301 - Probability and Statistics I Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: MATH 152 . Introduction to the basic concepts of probability. A survey of the most common probability distributions. Introduction to the use of statistical techniques with particular application to physical and biological sciences.
Note(s): Students who have received credit for STAT 410:411 cannot also receive credit for STAT 301:302.
