MATH 138 - Precalculus Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: A minimum of two years of high school algebra (or equivalent). Basic concepts of functions and related real number algebra and graphing, especially polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions; elements of trigonometry. Will not satisfy requirements for a major in mathematics.
Note(s): This course has been approved for Core Curriculum credit in Mathematical Sciences.
