RCPT 325 - Natural and Cultural Interpretation

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
Prerequisites: Major in RCPT or Outdoor Recreation and Leadership minor.
This course will introduce students to the role of interpretation in outdoor recreation. Students will study basic flora and fauna, as well as the history of local environments, and examine the philosophy, methods, and techniques of interpretation. Students will develop and practice a variety of interpretive skills through classroom activities and projects.
