EDEF 610 - Educational Alternatives: History and Theory Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: Graduate Standing. This course is designed primarily to help students develop an in-depth understanding of educational alternatives including the scope of the field, points of similarity and difference between various theorists, the historical and philosophical roots of educational alternatives, criticisms of the theories and practices, and practical examples of these theories.
