COMS 484 - Data Visualization for Communications

Credits: (3)
Instructional Method: Three hours of lecture and laboratory.
Prerequisites:   (with a grade of “C” or better), COMS 330  (with a grade of “C” or better), COMS 226 , COMS 326 , COMS 427 , or permission of the instructor.
Provides learners with the knowledge and skills to create data visualizations using a variety of tools and processes. Infographics, interactive web tools, and animation software will be utilized to create visualizations for mobile and web.
