ESHE 301 - Theory and Practice of Fitness/Wellness Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Two hours lecture; two hours laboratory. Prerequisites: HLTH 200 . Prepares future physical and health education teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively teach a fitness education curriculum to students in K-12 schools. Future teachers must be able to focus student learning on understanding the relationship between a health-enhancing level of physical fitness and the prevention of chronic disease.
