MATH 114 - Math and Human Society

Credits: (3)
Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
Core Math for the Social Sciences. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, measurement, mathematical modeling, financial mathematics, and voting.

Note(s): Will not satisfy requirements for a major in mathematics. Students who have received credit for MATH 168 , MATH 169 , or MATH 171  may not also receive credit for MATH 114. This course has been approved for credit in the Mathematical Sciences Area of the Core Curriculum.
