Core Math for the Social Sciences. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, measurement, mathematical modeling, financial mathematics, and voting.

Note(s): Will not satisfy requirements for a major in mathematics. Students who have received credit for MATH 168, MATH 169, or MATH 171 may not also receive credit for MATH 114. This course has been approved for credit in the Mathematical Sciences Area of the Core Curriculum.
