NURS 412 - Professional Nursing Practice Credits: (2) Instructional Method: Two hours lecture. Prerequisites: NURS 361 or NURS 426 . Students validate achievement of program outcomes and readiness for entry-level generalist nursing practice. The students demonstrate clinical reasoning within the context of patient-centered care. Students integrate current evidence-based concepts from nursing science, humanities, social and natural sciences, and apply them in a case-study based capstone paper. Students develop strategies related to preparation for professional licensure examination and demonstrate readiness via standardized remediation and testing.
