STAT 200 - Introduction to Statistics (GE) Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: Any MATH class, or a passing score on a placement test approved by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics Introduction to statistical methods; descriptive statistics, normal distribution, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression.
Note(s): General Education and Scientific and Quantitative Reasoning designated course. Students who have received credit for STAT 219 or any 300 or 400 level STAT course, may not receive credit for STAT 200.
