AHPT 862 - Clinical Medicine III

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all prior coursework, or permission of the Department.
Clinical Medicine III provides an overview of pathological conditions affecting the central and peripheral neurological systems. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of pathophysiology, recognition of clinical signs and symptoms and analysis of functional limitations and disability resulting from disease. Students reflect on the neurological disorders presented in class and have discussions regarding implications on physical therapy interventions. This course prepares students for their second and third clinical experiences.
