PHYA 625 - Clinical Skills I

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture; one hour laboratory.
The first of four courses focusing on clinical knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for the physician assistant in primary care practice. Students participate in clinical and simulated-patient experiences with emphasis on therapeutic communication, medical history, and the physical exam. Relevant Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived tests are included.
