PHYA 654 - Introduction to Master’s Project IV

Credits: (1)
Instructional Method: One hour lecture.
Prerequisites: PHYA 653 .
Students will continue to apply the knowledge learned in PHYA 653  towards the completion of a Master’s Project. Students will take the concepts learned and begin to apply them to focused clinical questions. The Master’s project will consist of a written paper and oral presentation of a brief, classical presentation of a patient case that elicits the clinical question, the search strategy utilized, the evidence chosen for the search and the critical appraisal of the evidence. The student will answer the clinical question based on the evidence as it relates to their particular patient’s case and draw conclusions based on the literature.
