This course is an examination of the physician assistant (PA) profession, including a historical overview of the profession, PA roles and scopes, and legal requirements for licensure and credentialing.A portion of this course will be completed in a shared educational setting including medical students and nursing students to fully examine the roles and scopes of healthcare professions and how patient outcomes are affected by effective interprofessional collaboration.
