SOWK 425 - Health and Aging Seminar

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
Prerequisites: Students must either be enrolled in the Health and Aging minor, or enroll with permission of the instructor.
This course will focus on integrating knowledge of human development and aging with specific skills needed when working with older adults and their families. Major areas to be discussed include: demography and aging, health and wellness in older adulthood, mental health care, social support, work and retirement, and careers working with older adults.
