RARE 400 - RARE Pre-departure Seminar

Instructional Method: Two hours lecture.
Prerequisites: Instructor Approval.
This course will include readings, discussions, and activities to prepare students for their RARE field experience. Students and faculty will meet to discuss relevant readings on topics of interest for that year’s RARE trip(s). Students will also prepare their research methodology and time line for the project they will be conducting on their RARE trip. Students will also be involved in activities to prepare them for the intensive environment found in this research experience.
