MUSE 117 - Technology in the Music Classroom

Prerequisites: Declared concentration in Music Education.
In order to successfully integrate technology into their teaching, music education majors will develop critical and applicable awareness of instructional and music technologies. Prospective music teachers will be introduced to techniques and methods in a wide array of technologies, as well as national music (NCAS) and technology (ISTE) standards via Project-Based Learning (PBL). Along the way, students will develop basic skills for identifying and applying technologies appropriate to PK-12 music classrooms and programs.
