This course is the second of two courses designed to foster the development and application of knowledge concerning the interrelationships of health, illness, culture, and behavior. Behavior Medicine II focuses on public health concerns, disease prevention, health promotion, health disparities, the social determinants of health, and the identification of and prevention of stress, burnout, and provider impairment.
