NURS 602 - Healthcare Systems & Policy

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
Prerequisites: Graduate standing in Nursing or permission of the faculty.
The effects of legal and regulatory processes on healthcare systems, nursing practice, and patient outcomes are examined. Strategies for policy advocacy as well as legislative and regulatory issues are explored.
