MUSE 555 - Choral Conducting

Conducting techniques, score interpretation, and rehearsal methods inherent to conducting vocal music. Instruction covers body awareness, score study, and vocal techniques. At least 4 hours of observation/participation in public school setting is required for Music Education majors. An additional 1-2 hours of rehearsal teaching-conducting with a collegiate ensemble for graduate students.
