Through this course, students will explore issues relating to the transition from generalist to specialist, changes in roles and/or settings, and resources for professional development to facilitate the desired transition. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, students will design a plan to develop advanced skills in one of the following areas: clinical practice, higher education, leadership, research, or advocacy. Content, composition, and implementation of the proposed learning plan will be guided by and tailored to the professional goals of the student.
