PSYC 621 - Practicum in Clinical PsychologyCredits: (3) Instructional Method: Practicum Prerequisites: Admission into the Master of Science in Clinical Psychology program or by permission of the instructor. This course allows students to gain practical experience in a clinical setting for a minimum of 100 hours (40 direct, 60 indirect). Under the direct supervision of licensed professionals, students will observe and practice clinical skills with diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. They will discuss current literature, ethical considerations, and diagnostic and intervention strategies through regular practicum seminars. Additionally, students will participate in individual and group supervision.
