Sport Management, B.S. (A, L)The Sport Management program prepares students for entry-level careers as potential leaders and administrators in the sports industry. Possible positions may be found in collegiate athletics, municipal parks and recreation departments, community sports programs, professional sports leagues, amateur sports organizations, and commercial sports industries such as fitness and activity centers, sports camps, and other private sports organizations. Professional fieldwork is a capstone experience for students in this major. |

REAL CurriculumThis major fulfills the A and L areas of the REAL Curriculum. Students will be able to describe and analyze how culture influences sport, and how sport influences society. Through coursework and a field experience, students will develop a professional identity through the application of knowledge of the sport management field to real-world settings.
