Entrepreneurship Minor

(18 semester hours)

A minor in entrepreneurship is designed to provide students with the skill sets needed to effectively create and manage business opportunities. The entrepreneurship minor is open to all students except management majors. The requirements for completion of the entrepreneurship minor are as follows:

Required Courses (12 credits)

• MGNT 250 - Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• MGNT 322 - Organizational Behavior
• MGNT 350 - Owning and Managing a Business
• MGNT 450 - Managing New Venture Creation

Electives (6 credits)

Students may choose up to six (6) hours of upper-division undergraduate courses in their discipline in consultation with their advisor and approval of the Chair of the Department of Management (it is recommended that at least three (3) of these hours consist of a practicum, internship, or field study), OR select from the courses listed below OR a combination of the two totaling six (6) hours.
