Entrepreneurship Minor

(15 Credit Hours)

A minor in entrepreneurship is designed to provide students with the skill sets needed to effectively create and manage business opportunities. The entrepreneurship minor is open to all students except management majors. The requirements for completion of the entrepreneurship minor are as follows:

Required Courses (9 credits)

• ENTR 240 - Social Entrepreneurship OR
• ENTR 250 - Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• ENTR 350 - Managing New Venture Creation
• ENTR 425 - Entrepreneurial Leadership OR
• ENTR 450 - Owning and Managing a Business

Electives (6 credits)

Students may choose up to six (6) hours of upper-division undergraduate courses in their discipline in consultation with their advisor and approval of the Chair of the Department of Management. These two upper-division courses will consist of a practicum, internship, field study, studio or similar experiential pedagogy OR select from the courses listed below OR a combination of the two totaling six (6) hours.
