Athletic Training Major
The athletic training major prepares students for a career in athletic training, an allied health care profession. The athletic training program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
Policies for Admission to the Program
(NOTE that requirements for admission in the program are based on requirements in place at the time of application to the program)

Minimum academic criteria for admission includes:
A 3.0 cumulative grade point average
A grade of a “C” or better in BIOL 105.
A grade of a “B” or better in ATTR 150 and HLTH 200.
NOTE that meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee admission.
