Entrepreneurship Minor (L)

The Minor in Entrepreneurship is open to all majors except management majors. It provides an excellent way to learn the skills and mindset needed to effectively create, own, and manage business opportunities.

REAL Curriculum
This minor fulfills the L area of the REAL Curriculum. The exploration of professional practice occurs through the application of knowledge, skills, and critical reflection in the various business disciplines. Students need majors and/or minors to fulfill the R, E and A areas to complete the REAL Curriculum requirements.

Personal and Professional Development (PPD)
Personal and Professional Development requirements can be met through a variety of coursework and activity hours. The Entrepreneurship minor includes 3 credits of personal and professional development, satisfying this requirement. General Education Requirements
General Education courses will be denoted below with a (GE). Students are required to take at least 30 credit hours of general education designated courses within their degree requirements. The Entrepreneurship minor includes 6 general education credits.

Students may choose up to six (6) credits of upper-division undergraduate courses in their discipline in consultation with their advisor and approval of the Chair of the Department of Management. These two upper-division courses will consist of a practicum, internship, field study, studio or similar experiential pedagogy.
