|
The B.A. degree in art with the art history concentration is ideal for students who are interested in art, art history, and other disciplines such as history, anthropology, and literature. The program provides students with three key elements: a generalist background in art history, an introduction to the area of museum studies, and an opportunity to choose an area or topic for a specialized final capstone project. An interdisciplinary field, the concentration in art history prepares students for entry-level work in museums and galleries, archival work in certain types of libraries and collections, and graduate work in the humanities, in museum education and curatorial studies, and degree programs in art therapy.
