Program Requirements 30 hrs.
Students pursuing the Master of Science degree in information technology must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours from among the following areas: Required core courses (15credits), restricted elective courses (9 credits) and capstone project (6 credits). Students completing the MS in Data Information and Management must earn a grade of B or better in 6 credit hours of CS 695 . Students may attempt up to 9 credit hours of CS 695 . Students who fail to earn a B or better in 6 credit hours of CS 695 may be dropped from the degree program. Required Core Courses 15 hrs.
Restricted Elective Courses 9 hrs.

Accelerated Track
Exceptional undergraduate students at Radford University enrolled in the ITEC undergraduate program may apply for the accelerated program and complete requirements for the baccalaureate and master’s degrees in five rather than six years. To be eligible for participation, students must have completed at least 56 undergraduate credits with at least 24 credits remaining in their undergraduate programs, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00, and receive positive recommendations from the ITEC Faculty.
