Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education

The purpose of the Graduate Certificate in Health Professions Education is to prepare individuals with experience in their professional health sciences disciplines for faculty roles. Students will gain knowledge of educational theories and evidence-based strategies to facilitate student learning. Practicum experiences will enable students to hone skills needed to be successful health sciences faculty. Graduates will be able to assume roles as higher education faculty in their professional disciplines. There are no government agency, licensing board, or accrediting organization requirements for this certificate.
