CHEM 103 - General Chemistry Credits: (4) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. Prerequisites: CHEM 101 . Introduction to principles and applications of chemistry. Divided equally between inorganic and organic/biochemistry topics.
Note(s): Credit towards a Chemistry major will not be given for CHEM 103. Students whose major requires upper-level chemistry courses must take CHEM 101 :CHEM 102 . A student may receive a maximum of 8 hours credit for General Chemistry. Designed primarily for non science majors.
