ITEC 120 - Principles of Computer Science I (GE) Credits: (4) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture; two hours laboratory. Prerequisites: A “C” or better in MATH 125 or MATH 138 ; or credit for MATH 126 , MATH 168 , or MATH 171 ; a 2.5 GPA or higher; or permission of instructor. A rigorous, systematic approach to object-oriented problem solving and programming. Students who withdraw from ITEC 120 may add ITEC 111 during the same term.
Note(s): General Education and Scientific and Quantitative Reasoning designated course. Students may not attempt to take ITEC 120 more than two times (a “W” will count as an attempt).
Students who have taken ITEC 109 must earn a ‘C’ or better in ITEC 109 before taking ITEC 120.
