EDUC 462 - Classroom Management for Grades 6-12

Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
Prerequisites: EDEF 320, EDEF 300, or Instructor Approval.
Participants in the classroom and behavior management course will develop an understanding of research-based classroom and behavior management techniques, classroom community building, positive behavior supports, and individual interventions. Participants will learn diverse and age-appropriate approaches to classroom management based upon research and best practice.
