EDSP 404 - Introduction to Special Education for Grades 6-12 Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: A minimum 2.5 overall GPA. Prospective educators in middle and secondary education are introduced to characteristics of exceptional learners, laws governing the delivery of special education and rights of people with disabilities, current trends and issues in special education services, and evidence-based practices that meet the needs of students with disabilities in a general education setting.
Note(s): Cultural or Behavioral Analysis designated course.
