ESHE 212 - Introduction to Sport Management Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: Fifteen credit hours. Designed to provide students with an overview of the sport management/administration profession and the array of careers currently available in the sport industry. Studies the impact of social, historical, health and economic trends on the growth of sport in the United States and throughout the world. Special emphasis is placed on ethical and diversity issues as they relate to the sport management profession. Information related to the governance of sport organizations is studied.
