MUSE 357 - Vocal Pedagogy Credits: (2) Instructional Method: Two hours lecture, one hour laboratory Corequisites: MUSE 300 or MUSE 400 : Field Experiences in Music Designed for voice majors/minors and vocal/choral Music Education majors. In this course students will learn anatomical and physiological elements of the vocal mechanism related to singing through reading, research, and discussion. Pedagogical techniques for singers and future vocal teachers will be evaluated to aid students in developing a personal methodology for teaching voice and choral ensembles.
