PSYC 499 - Internship Credits: (1-12) Prerequisites: Major in psychology, a minimum of 60 semester hours credit with at least 12 hours of psychology credits and a GPA of 2.8 overall and 3.0 in the major. Full- or part-time placement in a professional setting to provide students with applied experience relevant to their interests and goals. Supervision will be provided by both internship site personnel and university faculty, and will include on-site and/or scheduled campus-based meetings. Permission from the Psychology Department’s internship coordinator is required for enrollment. May be repeated for credit up to a maximum of 12 credits total.
Note(s): Graded or pass-fail options are both available. The student and supervising faculty must agree to a grading plan before enrolling in the Course.
