RCPT 435 - Tourism and Event Marketing Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. An overview of marketing as applied to the tourism and events industries, including service marketing, customer service, promotion and publicity development, understanding consumers and consumer behavior, and target marketing. Students engage in applied learning through the development and creation of marketing campaigns while using social media, video, and paper-based forms of expression in order to develop their own professional identity.
