STAT 301 - Probability and Statistics I Credits: (4) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: MATH 172 with a grade of “C” or better. Introduction to descriptive statistics and probability theory. A survey of the most common probability distributions. One sample confidence intervals and hypothesis tests.
