MUSC 386 - Undergraduate Practicum I

Prerequisites: MUSC 154, MUSC 161 ,MUSC 162, and MUSC 359; Music Therapy major, permission of instructor.
This practicum course will be conducted in a variety of settings, both on and off campus, to prepare students for clinical practice with diverse clients using music therapy techniques. Students will engage in clinical experiences under the supervision of a credentialed music therapist. Students will be required to obtain a total of 12 on-site clinical hours each semester for 4 semesters as well as 1 ensemble experience for 1 semester.

Note(s): This course may be repeated for a maximum of four semesters.
