RELN 113 - World Religions for Healthcare Professionals (GE)

Instructional Method: Lecture
Lecture. This introductory course presents the classical expressions of the world’s most widespread and historically significant religions. Students will learn about the origins, foundational figures, scriptures, beliefs, and practices of Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, among others. Additionally, students will explore the perspectives and practices related to health and healthcare represented in each of these religions. Note: Students cannot earn credit for both RELN 113 and RELN 112.
