Instructional Method: Three hours seminar.
Prerequisites: Three credits in philosophy (PHIL) or religious studies (RELN) courses.
This topics course is an in-depth examination of a philosopher or religious figure; a philosophical or religious movement; or an examination of a particular problem, theme, or issue in the study of philosophy or religious studies. Emphasis is placed on writing, careful reading, and critical discussion of primary philosophical or religious texts.
