PBHL 370 - Fundamentals of Epidemiology Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: STAT 200 and PBHL 150 or PBHL 350 . Students focus on the concepts and methods of epidemiology and its application to public health and clinical practice. The epidemiological approach is utilized to understand disease mechanisms, measure population health, and develop interventions designed to modify and improve health. The application of basic epidemiology measures is used to draw appropriate inferences from epidemiological data.
