OCTH 643 - Foundations of Neuroscience for Occupations

This course presents the gross anatomy and fundamental elements and processes of the brainstem and cortex from structural and clinical perspectives. Examines abnormalities of neural structures and the neurological bases of common neurological conditions seen in occupational therapy practice and the potential impact on occupational performance.
