PSYC 631 - Cognitive Intellectual Assessment Techniques Credits: (4) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture and one hour laboratory. Prerequisites: Graduate standing in psychology or permission of instructor. A study of the theory and development of the Stanford-Binet and the Wechsler Scales, as well as additional intelligence tests, including a history of and current research and practices in the field of individual intelligence testing. Laboratory experience includes supervised administration, scoring and interpretation of individual intelligence scales. Students administer and score a number of scales each semester and are expected to achieve proficiency in report writing as part of their laboratory experience.
