Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
In this graduate-level course, COMS 665 will explore key concepts, research, theories, and applications related to the study of health communication. From diverse approaches to conceptualizing and researching health communication to key processes that frame this field of inquiry, the course will examine how health communication operates in contexts like e-Health, interpersonal (private) communication and health (social support and health) relation, interpersonal (public) and communication within health organizations, and culture- centered approach health communication.
