This course in gifted education prepares students to support effective gifted program design, supervision, and evaluation. Students will examine national and state programming standards, models of gifted program evaluation, measures of program effectiveness and impact on student growth, models for teacher professional development in gifted education, recommendations for promoting parent/community involvement, and the roles and responsibilities of local advisory committees.
