D.N.P. Degree for the Post-BSN Track with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Concentration (PMHNP)


The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) concentration is designed to provide the baccalaureate prepared nurse with the knowledge and skills to synthesize and apply theories, clinical reasoning, and evidenced based research in the treatment of individuals, groups, and families with acute and chronic mental illness across the lifespan. The PMHNP concentration is a mental health specialty to treat children to older adults providing both psychotherapy and medications.

Program Requirements 85 hrs.


D.N.P. Degree for Post M.S.N (Non-certified) Track with PMHNP Concentration

Program Requirements 67 hrs.


D.N.P. Degree for the Post-M.S.N Track with a Nurse Executive Leadership Concentration


An MSN or equivalent degree is required for program admission.  There are no additional prerequisites in this program.
